Because why not?
I usually start planning the Thanksgiving meal a month or so ahead of time. Even though I make the same thing every year, it’s always with subtle variation. This was my first year roasting a Mary’s Free-Range turkey and after having had one, I’ll never buy another Butterball or Honeysuckle ever again (if I can help it).
Note to self… In future, use much less white wine to deglaze the roasting pan.
I ordered this cookbook last month and just received a bookplate, signed by Jacques Pépin himself, from the publisher.
