For the first time ever, I cured then smoked a pork belly and made my own bacon. Curing took ten days and then hickory-smoked for two hours. It was the most delicious bacon I’ve ever eaten.
On a whim, I purchased a new domain name this afternoon; kellyshomerecipes.com. WordPress is installed, a theme chosen, and basic header image uploaded. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be posting various recipes I’ve made, edited, created, and cooked over the past several years. Hope you drop by for a visit once the dust settles.
